pc can't be shutdown

I want to ask, does anyone experience the same thing as me when I shut down the PC, it just goes to sleep and doesn't really turn off until I press the power button for a few seconds before it turns off. If anyone experiences the same thing as me, how do I deal with it?

Try disabling "fast start-up" on Energy Options

Also, @low crest what does the option say next to when I press the power button? Mine looks a little different because i'm on a laptop, but it will say the same thing for power button

Yes, I've done that, but sometimes when my laptop has been used for a long time it can't be shut down so I have to press the power button for a while

Did you disable fast startup, then click save changes, then restart? If not that all needs done

You can't just uncheck the checkbox, you have to also click save changes then restart.

ohhh I disabled it last night but I didn't restart it then I'll try again after all my work is done I'll try turning it off to see if it works or not
