Get Help Audio Troubleshooter: {3842bb5f-fe32-4f82-8772-32766355e2f7}
I used troubleshooter with my keyboard disconnected and I'm seeing an OS notification on my screen that won't go away, it shows that the volume is at 100%. It's repeatedly trying to turn up my volume, that's why the notification doesn't go away, but I'm not doing it. When I reconnect the keyboard, the volume down & volume off have no effect because it's immediately overridden by my OS..
The issue happens when the OS switches from my new bluetooth headset to my speakers when the headset has turned off. It does not always happen but very often. My old bluetooth headset does not have this issue. To get my volume back to where I had it, I have to press the volume up button on my keyboard and then I can turn it down again.
I have uninstalled two drivers "Bluetooth stereo-audio" and "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio Device", after which my still connected headset audio stopped working. But the issue persisted!
Disabling "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" didn't help..
The issue only happens the first time when this specific bluetooth headset turns off, after that it will turn off without causing the volume up issue; however many times u try, atleast until the computer has rebooted. Once rebooted the issue will happen again just once after it turns off, the same way as before. So it seemed random but there is actually a pattern to its behaviour. I also have an old laptop and I tried it on there, the issue did not happen, it only happens on my PC on which I have use it a lot. I'm 99.99% sure that my OS is the problem; Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2, OS build 19045.3208.

It doesn't matter which sound output device it changes back to after the BT headset (that causes the issue) disconnects.
I can even switch between them and they all get their volume changed, so I'm 100% sure their drivers are fine.
Heck, even when I connect the BT headset again (that causes the issue), will have its volume affected as well.
I also doubt it being the keyboard driver that causes it.. B/c I tried it with my keyboard disconnected, as I said before.
