Every Windows version is swapping audio channels when running 3D apps

Somethings not right!..
If different hardwares were tested....then a specific app would be the culprit!...regardless of the windows version

And which app in particular you are using or use the most?

it is every single app that includes GPU involvement, like any game you can think of

It somehow happens on software/drivers/OS level when the game is being launched

Its too incredible... Different hardware usually dont produce the same error..for "every" app...
Since noone else is having the same problem...

There are ways to manually swap the channel.. You can temporarily swap the channel to see if it does the trick..

ofc it does, but I wanted to know the cause of this

since its been many different PC's with completely zero shared parts

I can eaisly flip headphones / swap channels through equalizer apo or any other soft, but thats not the case

I want to know why this happens and why this problem is so rare that i couldnt find literally anything useful through web

only then i shall be at peace

I'd love to talk to microsoft engineer about this one but i guess it wont happen

It is indeed rare... It is definitely not a widespread issue for windows as there are no other discussions/threads similar to this..

You are either unlucky that the hardwares you tested end up doing the same error...

I dont think this is wide-spread windows related issue..

Since noone including myself are not having it..

I've been troubleshooting this for hours with chatgpt v4 and it drew same conclusion in the end : OS level issue

The mistake is most likely from your end. When you say "every" already give us the hint.

custom OS aside - it happens on every OS version i've installed: 7/8.1/10/11

I was thinking about some user error factor when installing OS but thats nearly impossible with this many installations
