My PC stayed on" Preparing automatic repair."
All night. Now it is telling me it is getting windows ready and restarting. We have go through so many things. It had a few errors. My external hard drive is now saying that it is full but you can't access files. So maybe an issue with how the update reads the USB or something. But why won't it stop being so slow and giving us this error code #tech support #error0x80070643

Now it is on the home screen and and I don't know what else to do. To fix this

Umm, mby did windows update fill your drive? We can remove files or reinstall.

C drive is where windows is.. D drive had all the files I work with it won't let me access it. It just shows it is there

We got the PCon the he screen and saved all we could but it is slowwwwww and if I restart it it will take another 4 hours to restart.

We could boot linux on a usb drive to try to make copies of files, check smart data, then reinstall,

We have a new drive.. I could install and she has no files she needs on the PC right now.

The D drive is the broken one .. The ones she makes her projects on. It is not accessible

So do I leave it installed too
