installed new ram, computer doesnt work anymore

I just got 4 new 8gb ram sticks, and after installing them, the computer no longer boots. Nothing happens upon pressing the power button, and even after switching back to the old ram sticks, it still doesn't work. What do I do?

Have you checked the motherboard supposed to support what kind of ram factor

9/10 in these cases, the problem is that the user does not plug in the ram correctly or damages the ram / ram older while replacing them.

yeah but after removing it and inserting the old one it still doesnt work

Are you sure you plugged in the RAM fully and correctly so that all the ram terminals made contact with the ones on the motherboard?

Are you sure that you didnt damage some other part while doing installation etc?
