Yes i tried using this command and restarting my pc, but had no luck. Used this command in powershell: PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage sechealth).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}"

In case anyone forgot how its meant to look like:

Have you tried going into the Windows Defender settings within Control Panel and see if there's some "reset to default" option anywhere?

#

don't know my way around it myself, but might be worth to take a look

and idk how to get out of it

steady ore
#

did you or did you not illegitimately activate windows?

rustic jay
#

idk how to get out of that orgi tho

#

orgi=orginazation

#

just got a legit key for my pc

steady ore
#

that orgi thing is a byproduct of the necessary steps to circumvent some of the safety measures in place to not be able to activate Windows without a key. I really can't help you with this since all steps I take to resolve things usually require full accessiblity to the system and that it's setup and bought like a normal system. The instance you try to do things Microsoft doesn't intend, things become 10x harder.

I STRONGLY recommend you buy a windows key. Not just for the legitimacy of it, but also the fact that things will just work better overall. We could sit here and go on and on about how to do this and that despite all this, but it's easier to just pay up imo.

#

If you still don't wanna buy one then I get it: they're fucking expensive as hell. But it would make things easier in the long run.

#

i do have a legit key now

steady ore
#

then use it

rustic jay
#

just di today

#

my windows was actually deactived for some time, but just got a key today and its a legit one i know 100% and that issue was before i actiavted my new key

#

today? what do you mean? did you use the new, legitimate key on the system after previously activating it with illegitimately. So basically going from fake key to real key on the same system with no resets or anything?

rustic jay

steady ore
#

i don't know enough about windows perms to help you here, try reinstalling - or better, get a home/pro edition of windows.
