worn citrus
#

#

vernal rose
#

All your ram is being detected?

worn citrus
#

i just upgraded to 64gb trident neo and streamed and got a bsod

#

yes

vernal rose
#

Are you sure your cpu/gpu isn’t throttling?

worn citrus
#

i was streaming rocket league with obs on admin perms and got a bsod

vernal rose
#

At this point, I’d try using your previous sticks of ram, see if they make a difference

#

If not, then the problem’s with this kit

worn citrus
#

idk. i got 19 13900k, i tried undervolting and doing all that stuff

#

no no. ive been having rando issues. before all that

vernal rose
#

What about the temperature?

worn citrus
#

hold up

vernal rose
#

Hmm

#

I gotta go somewhere for like 30m, brb, I’ll help u after that

worn citrus
#

all fans are running correctly in the hyte y60 and yeah heat comes out but after unmder volting it doesnt go above 60

vernal rose
#

Hmm

#

What about the gpu?

#

Are it’s fans running?

worn citrus
#

fans running, yup. and okay np. its been a bunch of other issues other than this it just seems like things keep getting worse.

#

windows 10 with this setup and frame rate issues with discord overlay, and windows 11 has issues with audio delay

#

this is bluescreeneventviewer

#

do i have a bad windows install?

worn citrus
#

i need to go to bed soon but thinking my 980 needed a firmware update... little confused about this message. also just redid all the drivers from original.

#

drives good idk. im just ugh

vernal rose
#

Right I’m back, sorry for the delay

vernal rose
#

If your temps are fine, ram is fine, gpu is fine, motherboard is also fine, then it’s windows probably

worn citrus
#

no youre fine. so what ive been doing is reinstalling windows on a 256gb nvme and have a 1tb for user data and a 2tb for games

#

since games were the biggest issue this time thought it was the samsung evo 980

vernal rose
#

User data? The “user” folder created by windows? Or your own files?

worn citrus
#

the user folder

#

so when i install windows i change the C:/user/xxxx to D:/user/xxxx

vernal rose
#

That’s likely the issue, I think

worn citrus
#

so when i reinstall windows i keep all my stuff.

vernal rose
#

Try changing the user folder to the normal once

#

And then try some games

worn citrus
#

you think i need to start fresh?

vernal rose
#

Probably

#

Just

#

Create a new user once

#

And try smth on that

#

If a new user doesn’t fix it, then reinstall windows afresh

worn citrus
#

i'll start saving my stuff cause E:/ is games

vernal rose
#

Hmm, okay

worn citrus
#

OH i reinstall windows weekly

#

cause i keep having issues

vernal rose
#

Damn

worn citrus
#

first started with power related issues (i thought was a grounding issue) moved to another outlet. and then went from there. just had more and more issues since then. but i need to go to sleep talk more

#

in the am

worn citrus
#

Well I have to go ahead and recreate my USB drive -_-. I'm going to test just installing and then actually using the proper drivers. I don't think that's going to solve the memory issues I might have to contact msi on that one
