i installed something with the xbox pc app but then i didnt want it anymore so i tried cancelling the install but it just wouldnt cancel so i uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it but the download just froze so i just left the xbox app uninstalled but now my computer is acting slow as fuck and i cant do anything about it. if you guys do not help me i will have to buy an entirely new pc

my cpu usage is has been a little higher than usual since the issue started

you could have broken something important with the cancelling and reinstall and cancel again

no, it just checks that the operating system image is correct, it does nothing with your files

@nocturne tusk i went to the install location and deleted the thing i was trying to install and deleted the game and restarted my pc and now the problem is fixed and the game i tried to install is installed now for some reason
