You know all the old legacy addresses:
I was always curious if outlook usernames are unavailable if they have been used by a legacy address.
Like if someone had
“[email protected]”
Can someone else make:
“person@outlook”
Also, it technically isn’t less safe to have a legacy address, right? Since they are all essentially the same but the domain/branding is different

as far as i know
[email protected] and [email protected] can both exist and belong to different accounts, there shouldn't logically be any cross over there
and as for the security, yup they all run on the same backend, just different domain names so no harm in using an account on a legacy domain if you have one
