most of the times when you use the built in reset this pc tool and you have a virus it either doesn't work or the virus sticks with you even after you reset

#

because it uses a recovery partition in your computer to reinstall Windows

do it using a USB flash drive instead

you cant remove the virus manually

just reinstall Windows with a USB flash drive

#

if possible, do it in safe mode so the virus doesn't get into the USB flash drive itself
