Factory reset my laptop

If you want to erase everything.... Then clean install windows via thumb drive... Instead of using the built-in reset!...

Keep holding shift until you see the menu!...
Should have appeared...

First hold shift...then click restart

If it doesnt... Then you need another laptop or pc to make a bootable usb

You have one?...how did you create it?...
Anyways...you can boot into the usb from the bios/uefi menu...

Plug the usb...restart...and just after screen goes black...
Repeatedly press f9 for hp laptop
F12 for dell laptop
F10 for others...
For the boot menu

And to access the bios... It is usually f2 or del...(press repeatedly)

You said...this is an old laptop...while you are running windows 11...
Did you bypass 11 restrictions?...

and now it asks me for a password

Either you remove the battery of the laptop...and insert it after sometimes...in the hopes that it may reset bios...

Or you have to contact the school authority!...
