am talking about Hyper-V vms
What?
When you use a virtual machine you get this BSOD?
Have you tried using a different VM?
i mean if i do a fresh install it works
but when i import it from vmware it doesnt
yes u can convert vmware vms to hyper v vms
If Hyper-V causes issues, then why don't you just use the other ones?
but when i converted and started the vm its giving me bsod(inside the vm)
You can just reinstall the OS inside of the VM
Gpu partion
You want to use the GPU Partitioning feature in Hyper-V?
nah thats the reason am using it
well i need to import my stuff
i just dont wanna fresh install
Since it's BSODing "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" then you should reinstall it
Import your stuff what?
I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about
I don't think it's a good idea to put your personal stuff in a virtual machine
omg
i use to do some stuff in vm and have some stuff in it
i just wanna import it
downloading a diffrent iso freshly just gives me a media driver error
there is
What media driver error
but its just bsod
A media driver your computer needs is missing" or "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing" error message when you install Windows
You can literally use any other VM that supports Hyper-V
I doubt it's only VMWare that uses Hyper-V
There's a shit ton of other virtual machines that you can use
There is virtual box, even windows sandbox
none of them has a feature to partition the gpu
!!!
I don't use virtual machines
cause i cant find none
excatly
Elaborate "exactly"?
my point is only hyper-v is the only vm that supports this
Hyper-V isn't a virtual machine and there's a shit ton of other virtual machines that support Hyper-V
There's no point..
There's VMWare workstation, VMware fusion, Windows Sandbox, Oracle Virtualbox
do u even know wt is GPU Paravirtualization
Nah, I'm helping you without knowing anything you're talking about
Basically using magic to figure out what you need to fix and how to fix it
oh so u dont
No I do, you just don't know what "sarcasm" is
well i need GPU Paravirtualization and no vms supports it
i know
show me if any
yes
If the feature is only there on VMWare
You should of said that before
You can literally do something as simple as reinstalling VMWare and it might fix it
Are you trying to export or import when it BSODs?
u still dont understand
Those are two different things
i imported the vm and then it bsod
ye
Or export..
imported in hyper-v
So what does importing do?
wt
What does importing do?
if i have a .vhdx file i can import it to run in a vm
And it crashes when you try importing the .vhdx file?
yes when i start it
Did you try using a different .vhdx file?
Nope
You haven't tried anything?
Just reinstall the VM and try using a different .vhdx file
It could be corrupted
...
Did I say something wrong?
Ok Just tell me the fix of
I just did..
Media drivers
What?
is it windows 8?
You can just try this fix
I can't give you any instant magic solution
You have to try multiple fixes and see which one works
I reinstalled the iso 5times
Where did you get it from?
Debloted one
I mean i already did installed windows 10
Its working fine
But said i can't get the earlier thing to work
Btw if u knew gpu paravirtualisation u would have known that it works for hyper-v VM only
Hyper-V Is not a VM
I already knew that it is only available in virtual machines that use Hyper-V
Which is almost all virtual machines
bro
install a vm
and make ur gpu work with it
then u will get ur own answer
My point still stands
Almost every virtual machine uses Hyper-V
Do you have a specific virtual machine called "Hyper-V" on your desktop?
You don't
nah
if it does
do the thing above to prove me wrong
Why should I prove you wrong?
This is tech support forum, I'm here to provide support and nothing else
I gave you your answer, install a legit Windows 10 iso and it should work perfectly fine
"debloated" Windows 10 iso are most of the times malware infested anyways
I'm assuming you don't need any help anymore?
So I can leave
i already told u am using the legit one with a fresh install
still my issue is diffrent
So what's the issue?
vmware vms doesnt seem to work with hyper-v
Okay then which one uses Hyper-V?
have u ever used this
Find yourself in need of migrating from VMWare, or a .ovf into Hyper-V, but can't figure out how? Well, it's not too simple, but this tutorial will get you there super quick... AND for FREE!

wt u think i didnt
i did and it does not works
Then follow another tutorial
well every tutorial seems to do the same thing
That's your issue then, you're probably not doing it properly
and i remember u said u dont use vms? right
Yeah? so what
so ur just gonna assume that
Yeah I'm gonna assume you didn't do it properly
Every other tutorial uses the same method, right?
So then that method must work
so how are u so sure about the things u saying are right
Basic knowledge
I don't have to be God to know who he is
well thats the thing am getting a bsod
am doing the excat thing
Why do you want to use GPU PV anyways?
i have to share it to you why am i using it ?

There could be literally a million other ways to do the same thing you want to do
Not specifically GPU PV
Well, do you have virtualization enabled?
yes
I have absolutely no idea why it's crashing then, you're either following the tutorial wrong or it just doesn't work/not possible
or it maybe u dont know shit about vms
explains a lot
๐
yes u just gonna laugh about it for sure
OMG VMWARE SUPPORTS HYPER-V SO IT SHOULD SUPPORT GPU-V
funny enough
If GPU-PV Is a Hyper-V Specific feature, then it should be there in every other VM that supports Hyper-V
Which is basically every VM
You're the one who worded it incorrectly
Nothing is my fault here ๐
Clearly says above "Hyper-V issues"
then create a vm with gpu-pv
I don't want to
I just don't feel like it
lol
bro u just litterly started radomly recommending to use other vms
You're the one who lacks the ability to explain something properly
where gpu-pv is impossible
You said it's a Hyper-V ONLY Feature, then you said it's only specific to whatever VM you're using
Literally not my fault you lack the ability to explain something properly without making it confusing
Microsoft's Hyper-V
have u ever used it
Hyper-V isn't a virtual machine
Yeah how are you doing it?
some random gui lol
answer my question
You literally mentioned above 5 times you're using VMWare
have u used hyper-v
lmao stfu bozo
Literally trying to prove a point that makes absolutely no sense in tech support forum instead of seeking help
๐
i just told u am migrating my vm to hyper-v
Recommendations to have a brain?
I don't have a point to prove
I'm here to provide support and nothing else
how can u when u dont use vms
just go help some other guy installing windows on his old laptop
Don't use them regularly
Clearly know how they work and how to use them
Unlike someone else..
Hyper V issues (If u know about vms feel free to help or u can avoid this)
well i said u can gpu-pv in hyper-v only right?
Correct
Hyper-V only
Then you come and tell me it's only specific to the VM you're using
Makes absolutely no sense
u said if its the only supported feature then it should works with others too
Correct, if it's supported in Hyper-V then it should work in every other virtual machine using Hyper-V
.
and my response to that was no
cause it simply doesnt
Okay, since it doesn't then why did you say it's only specific to Hyper-V
Absolutely no reason to say that
Should of explained properly like someone with a brain would
it is
Then it should work with every other VM supporting Hyper-V
Exactly..
are somewhat connected to the host directly
That's what you didn't state above asking for help
so u can gpu-pv
in that vm
so did u know this?
no ofc
cause u are just a basic user who uses oracle virtualbox
I'm a basic human with a brain
So why don't you use GPU-PV?
topic
Since you know so much about VMs
Shouldn't be asking for help here
I gave you your answer and you're not satisified with it so you try to tell me I don't know anything about VMs
Literally so much shit you're doing wrong here
well id think so
.vhdx file crashes when you import it
Why don't you create another one and try that?
Literally common sense
.
i did
"Oh the installation won't work because I'm using a debloated windows 10 iso which is malware infested and probably doesn't even work like it's supposed to"
..
1st everyone knows debloated os are much better than using vanilla so that we can get rid of shitty telementry and spyware
2nd just agree u dont know shit i already told u i tried it with a fresh install of windows vanila iso which still doesnt work
so ye
just be a little good boy and get out of this channel ty
Yeah debloated isos are alot better
That's why they're against the rules of this server
Okay, why it doesn't work?
Because you're a dumbass who doesn't know how to follow a youtube tutorial properly
ofc they are cause they arent provided my micrsoft itself
Then get the fuck out of this server
Why are you asking for help while breaking the rules
u dont know shit
just agree to it
Why are you asking for help?
Why do you not know how to follow a tutorial properly?
Literally provided to you with the exact steps
And you're failing to follow it properly
LOL
i did but ur ass doesnt wanna help or does not no how
Okay
go play with ur virtual box
What happens when you follow the tutorial?
"Oh well it crashes"
Because you didn't follow it properly
Or it just doesn't work anymore and there's no possible way to do whatever bullshit you're trying to do
I gave you your answer and you're clearly dissastisfied with it so you try to make me look like I'm the one wrong here ๐
yes u are
now get out of this post pls
Say that to yourself
ty
just agree u dont know shit
No one's gonna help you while you're clearly breaking the rules and acting like a complete idiot with no common sense
wt rules i broke
can u pls mention
"Oh well debloated isos are against the rules but I'm still using them because they're malware infested and I have no common sense"
Modified Windows isos are clearly against the server's rules
using a debloated os? i already told u yesterday that i downloaded the official windows 10
dumb
using a debloated os? i already told u yesterday that i downloaded the official windows 10
maybe
Maybe??
i already fixed it way back
Oh yeah, how did you do that?
was just trying to prove ur dumb ass points wrong
How did you fix it?
by changing the boot settings from the hyper-v manager
and how may i ask
Following the tutorial wrong
lmao
see
u still dont wanna get proved wrong
Yeah you're a dumbass who follows a 3 minutes tutorial incorrectly then comes crying about breaking the rules in the microsoft server
stfu bitch
the thing i did wasnt even mentioned in the video
"My potentionally malware infested "debloated" windows 10 iso wont work oh my god ๐ฑ "
i followed
Then you follow a different tutorial
Is it rocket science and I'm just too blind to see?
A tutorial doesn't work, you go and follow another one
excatly
bro
I don't know how your little Hyper-V manager works
ty
What are you even trying to do with it?
hyper-v does litterly comes with ur windows 10 pro/enterprise
oh u must have a home edition
private stuff i dont wanna say
Yeah so private
so comming to my 2nd point
excatly
well u cant gpu-pv in it
thats wt i was tryna say u
GPU-PV isn't even a useful feature
it is
Are you gaming in the virtual machine?
nope
Then why is it useful
i use proxmox for that
bro u literally can do so many things
What do you use GPU virtualization for
with it
i need the gpu-encoder
I can't think of anything private you can do using a virtual machine tbh
private in way that i dont wanna share wt am doing with it my point is gpu-pv doesnt works with other vms like vmware and stuff
so ye
You never even mentioned you used Hyper-V manager to create a VM
as i said vmware, oracle virtual box is not connected to the main host
You literally kept saying
while hyper-v is
"oh vmware oh vmware doesnt work"
so u can gpu-pv
When?
.
All I could think of when you said that
maybe u didnt had the brain to understand wt was i saying
Is the million other VMs that exist
sp ye
Maybe you just don't have the brain or english to explain anything properly
Define research
Yeah I doubt you can define it properly
When you can't even spell it
something u didnt did and if u are counting typos bro am litterly using a on-screen keyboard to type which is diffuclt . Average guys finding typos in a argument
Why don't you use a real keyboard to type?
well am cleaning my keys so i cant
Gotta clean it off all the cheeto dust
When did this turn into an argument? ๐
when u said "stfu"
Still not an argument
it did turn into one
That's your issue
You're the one who should delete the post, unfollow and mark it as solved
Do you not know how to do that?
Your issue is resolved so why are you breaking the rules
Mark it as solved like someone with a brain would
i will
Should I do it for you?
but gtfo
Do you want a youtube tutorial?
There you go ๐
