Hi! I am currently trying to update my windows 7 to a windows 10, but I am unsure about which files are okay to delete from the C driver, I need to free up 8GB of space. Please help me! #tech-support

You could try running Disk Cleanup > "Clean Up System Files" to maybe clear some cache and Windows Update cache.
I understand you are low on storage so you can not perform the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Is that correct?

I don't think it matters how many free storage you currently have in your C drive, it matters how many free storage you have on the USB flash drive you're trying to put the windows installation media on
Since you're going to delete the whole drive during the setup anyways

And you do need some free space when upgrading
