Is this server official?

No, this server is not official. It is community-ran, it is not run by Microsoft. Also none of our moderators are (to the best of our knowledge) affiliated with Microsoft in any way. We do have official Microsoft employees in the server. However, they have joined of their own free will, and not as part of their job.

i get the context now, already

so gentoo is a tool to multiboot windows and linux installs, which means you can choose which OS to launch at startup
My opinion is- the gentoo bootloader is having some issues judging from the screenshot they sent earlier, which apparently showing errors while loading the Gentoo boot selection screen

That's just a quick opinion though, nothing much serious
