Forza Horizon 5 0xc000005 error code

Hi all,

I’m trying to run Forza Horizon 5 from Steam on Windows 10, running the latest AMD Graphics Drivers (22.10.5). I am getting this error code in Event Viewer and I am not sure how to solve the problem. The game boots and then crashes immediately when launching from Steam.

Happy to provide more error logs if someone could guide me along the way, I’d be forever grateful!

3. Try to Reset or Repair the game in Windows Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > [Name of game] > Advanced Options > Reset or Repair. Thanks so much. I should clarify that I installed the game from Steam, not the MS Store

SFC or System File Checker can help fix Windows system file corruption that might be causing this error. Running SFC scan is easy,

Press Windows key and type cmd
Right-click on ‘Command Prompt’ and choose ‘Run as Administrator’. A command prompt window appears
Type sfc /scannow and hit Enter key
Let the SFC scan to finish (It will automatically detect corrupt system files and will replace them with new from the cache)

or reinstall the game cause i highly doubt thats gonna work

and also downgrade ur drivers cause the news one always buggy

i had a problem with the neweset yesterday

i had to downgrade cause it was crashinh my games
