#Touring Car Handling feedback

Not good
Bad
Too understeery
Doesnt fucking turn
I still stand by my point of these cars feeling incredibly obese even when using like 7 aero
Still far better than having so much grip that your car almost flips in the Inner Drive handling moment.
Le créative vision
The gtr nismo could've been better
Yea, but it handles very nicely.
Cars either turn or don’t turn 🗿
Most likely, nismo just feels fat and needs 6-8 aero. CCGT is just something sped cause 8 aero turns good but not enough for sharp turns, and then 9 is drifting
Hello Motornation.
We would like to hear your thoughts about the Dodge Viper, Lamborghini Murcielago, Ford Focus and that new Nissan GT-R Nismo
handling.
Good.
they definitely drive
I think it’s pretty good on the Murcielago and Viper
The wheels indeed turn
I like the new handling. Viper was harder to use before but now it handles with ease
I've seen them in the top scores in the summit
Viper handles way better. Was unusable before
Viper personally is my favorite, just what the
needs. Responsive steering that doesn't get in your way, just enough grip and not understeering as much as CCGT does, new model is better balanced.
Others are also good, especially the Murcielago, but Focus could use more handling for how little power It has and Nismo is in need of power too with how heavy It is.
Overall would be great if this was the model for the entire discipline, just gotta get the car stats right within It.
loved how the Viper and Murcielago felt, but like Deko said the Focus needs more handling since it doesnt have much power compared to the other 2 cars.
as for the Nismo it just feels very underwhelming in terms of power.
The Viper's great and so is the Murcielago. Giving more control to the player is always welcome
This handling would definitely benefit SR and hypercar as well, if that's an option on the table
GTR feels good but it dies in the leaning corners, its basically a replica of the Mercedes F1 car this year.
Fully agree with deko, this handling is exactly what this discipline needs, only "issue" is the balancing between vehicles but if we can get some tts time with the new handling that could be adressed.
Drove the mucielargo 2 days ago. I liked it alot, still need to try out the Viper/Focus/Nismo
I also would like to give some feedback that the Proto Hub One - TC version really has a frustrating cornering handling where it feels like this race vehicle was forgotten to get a power steering / servo steering and this is really the only vehicle in the entire game which has this kind of frustrating cornering handling (not to mention the 2nd frustrating vehicle - Proto Hub One Marco's Cab Edition but that's a SR vehicle and has locked camber settings for unknown reasons) 😟!
that's not related to what they asked originally but sure
Hup one tc did not get the new handling model yet. Can you give feedback that actually makes sense?
I love the new handling on the selected cars even with the focus being a bit understeery. It feels nice being able to turn immediately rather than waiting for the delay for once.
As the others have said a few tweaks for balancing for certain vehicles and implementation on other vehicle classes would be amazing.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 -
would be even more suitable with a 5% or an even faster acceleration at least for the 1st gear.
A massive improvement for sure. Even from the CCGT. This handling model has a good turning reaction, grip, and doesn't understeer massively like the CCGT does.
In short, actually feels like how touring cars should've handled. Good job on this one. Really.
definitely way better than before, especially some bad outliers like escalade or that one motorpass 911, we need more responsive cars in this game where everything drives like a truck
Definitely liking this new handling. Overall seems a step in the right direction to make it feel somewhat realistic and little less arcady... (?) in an attempt to remove the wheel lift when turning that is present on most cars with the current old handling.
My only issue with the new handling cars (specifically the Nismo GT3 and CCGT) is that they do not have sufficient cornering abilities compared to cars with older handling, on low speed corners. Other than that it's pretty good nonetheless.
Honestly the handling isn't bad at all. I'm still trying to get the hang of it, as I'm understeering a lot more with the cars, but thats completely fine. It feels completely different to what it was before in a really nice way.
I've only really tried the M4 and FXXK as they're the ones I've raced on the most, so I definitely can feel a lot more understeer, but it is more of a realistic feeling now.
... Those havent been changed...
Drove the Murciélago RGT a lot before the patch because it's cool but it didn't handle great, lacked grip and just didn't turn well. Now it's much better. More responsive, less understeer, feels great. Glad you picked it for revision.
Just overall driving in TC2 is often boring imho. Especially time trials on wide open tracks (summit/Fosberg), just floor it and turn on a vague racing line. There's little nuance or balance while turning, it all feels really basic? You can't really 'play' with the car's grip. Not sure a patch could solve that though.
Drift didn't get new handling 😐
Guess you're right, thought I saw it mentioned in patch notes. Only tried the new 370Z for some quick runs on the Fosberg drift track to be honest, it slides well
So, I’ve been using the Dodge Viper, and Lamborghini Murcielago a lot since they received the new handling update, and I think that those two are the best of the 4. However, I went to try out the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé (W196) and I thought the current (old) handling for that is good. if not; slightly better in some areas. At least, for the race I used it in (going back to my roots) because it felt like the car had some weight to it, if you know what I mean? 🤔
That's the general feeling of release handling on controller/keyboard, the problem is that other characteristics bundled with It don't suit
at all. These og physics cars are always in need of a slidy or even straight up drifty tune to be fast, that's where new handling is miles better for making racecars actually grip. And the old steering filter, It is not great to look back at now that we got actually responsive cars like Viper.
Felt like they did 🤷♂️
No, you can see in the patch notes and the very start of this thread which cars got new handling
In my opinion, the GT-R is the best Touring Car in handling, it feels so smooth, the car does not loses grip when turning and is so easy to drive. Awesome car, 100% recommended.
I'm talking about the handling, but yes, that's true.
The viper and murcie turn slower than rs01 by a lot for some reason
The nismo gtr also feels fat
I'm assuming It is doing that for wheel because of not having the grip stat slam through the roof. On controllers It gives the opposite feeling on turn in especially because Renault and other older cars have awfully slow filter.
Good game btw
On controller these cars feel awesome
