Car customization while shopping

As the title says, it would be amazing if you could funny customize a car like it's body parts, colour, livery, etc before you buy it. It would obviously make the car more expensive if you put body parts on but it would be so cool if you knew what would be available when car shopping

I legit don't see a point as it's just a button after buying to go to the customization menu

of which you can't access until the car is bought. they want to preview all visual options before the purchase.
