You can only earn a certain number of prestige tickets, and since ~11,000 prestige tickets are available from new playlists and summits each season meanwhile ~14,000 prestige tickets worth of cars are added to the prestige shop every season, eventually it will be impossible to afford all the cars in the prestige shop. There needs to be some sort of thing you can do again and again for prestige tickets - the best solution would be to reset your sticker collection for a playlists custom mode so you can earn those prestige tickets again.
