Hi I just noticed that the newly released Mercedes AMG ONE hypercar is given as an MR transmission whereas it is an AWD in real life... May I request that this be fixed as soon as possible? Thanks

P.S. Apologies in case I've posted in the incorrect thread/section. If I have posted in the wrong section, may I request the forum moderators to guide me to the right thread/or to please move my post to the appropriate section thanks.

The same is also the case with the new Porsche 919 Street.
IVT probably applies to the permanently driven wheels and that is only the rear wheels. The front wheels are only driven adaptively via electric motors.

And one thing I noticed: if you can modify the differential in the pro-settings, then the car is AWD

You can always do the drivetrain test though, if you know what I mean.

I've now bought the car myself.
The AMG One has exactly the same problem as the 919 Street.
According to the information in the game, it's an MR (mid-engine rear-wheel drive), but when driving it's actually an all-wheel drive with adjustable power distribution (both cars don't actually have a permanent all-wheel drive).
I would say correct is the MR Information, but the power distribution shouldn't be adjustable because it's a adaptive electric engine on the front wheels and not a permanently powered one. It's not connected to the petrol engine and gearbox.

# vapid anchor To be honest, modern cars, not only hybrids, with all wheel drive has diff with ...

That true, no all-wheel drive is permanent. But the difference, in my opinion the important one, is that the classic all-wheel drive with all 4 wheels has a proper connection to the gearbox or combustion engine.
For example, with an real all-wheel drive, the gearbox really powers all 4 wheels and depending on how you want to gear it, it can be converted or set to distribute the power to 30/70, 40/60 or 50/50. But if only the rear-wheel drive is permanently connected and the all-wheel drive is generated via electric motors to the front wheels, that's a big different. You can't actually distribute the power generated by the combustion engine here because the electric motors on the front actually always go full throttle if they are needed for the all-wheel drive at that moment, and you can't give more power from the combustion engine to the front wheels. I hope it's understandable what I'm trying to explain with my english 😅

But well, I can live with that to be honest, after all this is an arcade racing game where the cars are virtually tuned, so at least the vehicle information should be correct what the topic is about.
