Would be a neat feature if with Spotify or some other music platform we could play out own tunes in game and would be great for immersion instead of having outside speakers in your room playing custom music ruining the vibe

I don’t play on pc, so I don’t know. Can you run Spotify in the background while you play? Because that’s what I do on PlayStation.

Licensing & Royalties, they'd have to pay each individual artist for each individual song, though I'd love this to come true, the likelihood is slim to none, sorry

It would be nice to have a feature like what they had in NFS MW 2012 where you kind upload mp3 files into the game and use them in the ingame radio

What's against a simple spotify integration? I think Forza Horizon 3 had something similar with another streaming service (might be wrong tho). A simple options panel where you can login using your spotify.
That way neither IT nor Ubi would have to pay royalties to any artist, just Spotify for using their logos and name and such.

Alternatively, I think a simple "custom station" or "personal mixtape" where you can arrange all in-game songs the way you like or turn certain ones off would be amazing and shouldn't be too hard to do (then again, I don't know the workflow of IT or their code or engine)
