Is it possible that you can add different style fonts upper and lower case, and some shapes with a colour fade blend function for console and pc. Plus multiple highlight delete for local livery instead of deleting individually

The livery editor really needs these things and then some (higher shape limit, less livery "deadspace", etc)

WHAT you can trace decals with the d pad, is that for pc or consoles

A thing I wish they changed is how the car is divided into front, back, sides and top parts. What I don't like is when top and sides alternate each other and don't have one single border.

#

It happens when the side of the car follows (starting from the roof) flat, then vertical, then flat, then vertical (flat parts go into top part, vertical into side) creating "alternating" borders

Also some very appreciated additions would be:

  • a way to type the value you want for coordinates, size % of sticker, rotation angle etc instead of hoping to get the exact value with the slider
  • mirror option for top, front bumper and back bumper parts of the car, so you can mirror things like you do with the sides based on the middle line of the car

I'd love to see some updates and mostly fixes for the livery editor. But lets face it, when it comes to tc the editor always got a backseat. Moving from tc2 to tcm, the editor got way worse. More bugs than ever, sometimes straight unusable. Doubt we ever get any QoL for the editor. And who came up with the idea that on keyboard you must press F9 to open up a menu and add new shapes. Not F1 or anything easy but F9 kek

Best way to go around the lack of mirror option:

  • put the sponsor decal that you desire to mirror in its spot and duplicate it

  • Back out from the editor so the next shape will be placed on the origin point.

  • Lay down a square on that point and duplicate it

  • Change the colour of the square and group it with one of the two sponsor logos

  • Flip that group so that the sticker lands on the desired area of the car

  • Align the two squares perfectly and symmetry is achieved.

  • Finally, ungroup the stickers from the squares, delete them and flip the second sponsor logo

You proved my point, it's unnecessarily difficult

acoustic sparrow

Didn’t say it wasn’t obnoxious, but without a built in feature that’s how you can achieve it.

Not here to argue but to help

It would still be useless because Gran Turismo is the only game to have properly mapped (and mirrored) car models...Forza and Motorfest can have either a slight 1 or 2 values of offset compared to the actual center of the car, or sometimes even up to 7 values

In the end, adding the mirroring function without proper mappings isn't gonna change much, you'd always have to move the shapes yourself

#

And obviously, we're not getting car mapping fixes from Motorfest, they don't care about livery stuff despite the plenty of discussions we've had and even forwarded to the devs

I think I've never found a car with true 0 values

dark scarab
#

I've found it, the 3000GT for now
i ain't actively trying to find what cars have true 0 values🙏😭

#

You'd expect the newly added cars to have a good mapping...the Utopia has an offset of 4

The Interception unit

#

Oh right, I keep forgetting interception units exist

#

Assuming they modeled them all starting from the same stock car, they should all be a properly mirrored model
