So I'm currently tied with about 1000+ people on the Custom Show but I'm relegated to outside the Platinum cutoff despite having the same amount of votes as those up to 3899th.
I think it's only fair for everyone that ties in votings are handled like they are actually ties where everyone with, for example, 9 votes are placed 3899th instead of being randomly shuffled in the leaderboard and missing out on a potential reward through no fault of their own.

I believe those places are sorted by time you registered, so cars that registered first will take priority over other cars with the same amount of votes that went up a few days later.

So say the people with 9 votes spans 4000th-5500th, then 5500 people should have the rewards since the people with 9 votes would be placed as 4000th. Anyone with 8 votes would count as 5501st and therefore ineligible for the Platinum reward.

Which is still pretty unfair considering the Summit/Custom Show reset happens in one time. People in the EU regions would have to be awake at around 4AM just to register their cars on the dot and theoretically place higher on the leaderboard. We should be counting placement only via the number of votes instead of another arbitrary requirement.

ok, I'll be real, I don't actually know how it separates entries at the same amount of votes. I figure there's something there but not exactly sure what.

I'm sure that its time releated, because I once set up my car pretty late like 4 days after the start and I was at the near bottom of 3 likes and barely getting gold

If both people have same amount of likes then its time related placement = he got his likes faster then you, thats why you are behind him.

The topic has been discussed for weeks on the other Ubisoft server too, combined with the buged self-vote system. Over 200 comments but unfortunately, no reactions for weeks, especially bad because of the new exclusive Audio signature in the current custom show.
