Yea current plan is to rotate SR -> HC -> TC for first 6 weeks and then I have something wild planned for final two weeks

Wild plans include (but not limited to) existing events in reverse with meta cars

Finals will be 7 events in much shorter timeframes so dont expect to have a lot of time to do them. CarBon expressed their concerns about it and im willing to extend it max to 48 hours per event, but any longer defeats its purpose cause the point is that players who can adapt best in a shorter timeframe will win.

Ideally id want to be done with it in 1 week, but 24 hours might be impossible for some trying to juggle work/school/private life

Think of having more time as a privilege. We did similar stuff in my own server and players had only 10 minutes per event, you have minimum 24 hours.

First round we will have 8 players running an event and then slowest drops out, we have 7 left who will run the second round..... all the way until there is just one man standing.

Catching your tires on the dirt area of the inner corner. Turns your car faster because the outer side has more grip and thus accelerates faster than the inner side.

basically if a corner goes to the right, you can drive with half of the car on the dirt on that side and it will be grabbed into following the direction of that corner (unless its a very sharp corner and you have too much speed and so)

so you can technically hold more speed than normal / taking it normal

Managed to get 1st, straight to finals from winner's bracket with no losses, but the opponent I got from losers coming up was very good, played himself very warm, so we went all the way to 5th map in grand finals best of five. I knew how to do the movement abilities in the game really well, but my opponent had mastered melee combat over the tournament. Basically you have to kill the opponent and as leader, run to the opposite end of the map to win. If you die, your opponent gets the leader role. The map is divided into screens and only leader can transition to the next screen. If both die at the same time, neither is leader and they are stuck in a section of a screen until one kills the other.

We had 10 players total, double elimination, all matches best of 3, grand finals best of 5. Tourney took like 2 hours straight

If you miss the checkpoint (I think) at the u-turn after the second long straight you get respawned backwards

Checkpoint placement is okay imo, just don't BoT, the tracks are specifically designed for BoT tricks to not work.

this is not entirely true, but some locations on the map have bizarre respawns. Like you drive on an elevated road that clearly has collision, but BoT respawns on you on the road below 300m away 😄

the old TC 911 are indeed all trash, pre and post handling change, but the GT3C should be normal, race it a lot

you need to start accelerating like 0.3 seconds before the final circle hits green

I have a tapping system for myself that I tap the accelerate button twice for each light and generally by launch, I have perfect or nearly perfect start, but yes, accelerating after the final circle goes green is way too slow, you need to be like ~0.3 seconds earlier

you dont even try to accelerate in any way, completely relying on your instincts to react to final light going green. For me, that doesn't work, so I designed a method that works for me like 5 years ago

its ok, basically yes, your timing seems to either too early or just too late. If you press the button when it goes red, its too late. You need anticipate it and be a very tiny bit early
