this whole livery is all about budget save, tbh I never thought I could make it at the beginning , once it's finished I'm not satisfy about all the corners I have to cut, while I was making it I have to constantly check and do calculations about how much space I have left, to make things even better is that ivt totally forgot front side, the front side of this car can only edit from top side, but im glad eventually I made it and it's at least agreeable

anyway I think when I have more experiences about making hoonigans down the road, I'll completely remake this one

What overlay method allows to achieve🥴
I remember when I could only make things by hand and eye, now I couldn't even think of trying without the overlay method

It would end up being too ugly and misproportioned af

@south lynx I guess you're not familiar with this overlay method, it will surely help you and bring the qualitytwo steps further

Since you're on pc, you should get the program Nomacs, krutas uses it so he will give you tips on how to make a good use of it

Everything done by hand, I actually can't believe I could make logos very closely right at the beginning of this "livery making" journey...good old times I guess

And if logos were already hard stuff to recreate, I also made some anime liveries... months of work like that

The sad thing is that the livery editor (and scenery I’ll give them that) is one of the main reasons that I play this game at all.

I’ll keep creating stuff there because the default lighting is much better than in TC2, colours actually pop.

It’s just such a hassle trying to get anything done that way.

I’m sticking with stripes, previously created stickers and simple designs because I value my time. If everything was working as it should, I could create much more elaborate designs, but I won’t until things get done on their end.

if you do not have livery files stored locally yet those files exist in servers (for example they got deleted bc the bug we all know, or in my case, a ban), even if you are the creator of the livery on the car you wish to submit into Custom Show, you can't

this is a very effective yet brutal method to prevent people from being lazy or gain more upvotes than original livery makers and so on, the intention is good, yet when applied it gets somewhat not very flexible

it's kinda strange to see a warning text that says "you cannot register livery from other creators" when I want to register my own creation

here's the deal, this is a direct result of getting reported for three weeks straight for god knows how many times at Custom Show

I don't even want to count how many reports I must have received, all I know is the number must stock up to a spectacular amount that the new system decides it's valid and banned me

well, since ivt hasn't fixed the local tab yet, I'll go back modding GTAV then

also I have to overrule my previous conclusion to

STAY AWAY FROM CUSTOM SHOW

at least this time I am smart enough to save everything into local tab so I'm barely touched by this one, I could get back to work immediately once the local tab is fixed (I hope the previous safe in local conclusion is still true )

assuming there is bare minimum 1 reports per day, that's 7 per week, which already passed the previous ban criteria
three weeks in a row, since this week is not over, that's whopping 18 individual reports, minimum, which I assume the ban bar can't be so low otherwise there are others would find out before me, so the actual number is way bigger, I'm gonna be very bold and say 2 per day, that will be 36, and I fear that I'm still not bold enough
