Event uses the new features of the race creator to showcase various alleyways and side locations in San Francisco that have not been part of any of the base game events. A-to-B type of race. Have fun!

More "Urban Rush" style events will be created in the future to showcase street races that utilize alleyways and side areas in other cities in The Crew 2.

Hello Dryminator, maybe this a little bit off topic & especially the complete#1019640428280168460 channel was deactivated where we could create such threads.
Hopefully you are allowing me the following question:
Did you or anyone else you know, maybe already could test how many community races can be published by 1 / each player after a possible limit will be reached?

Because at least I could find out that there is a certain overall limit for vehicle liveries / designs in TC 2.
Currently I just published 9 events so far.
In TC 1 we are / were only allowed to save 10 races in total with the track editor, so that's why I have such worries!

Edit:
Just around 2 hours (10 p.m.) ago a player on a different discord server mentioned that 50 published community races might be the highest possible limit for each TC 2 player, but he still didn't show a proof about this detail.
So for me this is still rumor only, until anyone could approve this with a 100% garantee.

if it works like livery, shared events are removed from editable files, which would not consume any "slot" if it has one at all. the 100 liveries limit are only on non-shared, editable type liveries.

I have not run into any limits yet and ive created some 30+ events

Also to add to what Ham said, they actually added an option to duplicate events you have already published. Adding an option to someone who has made 50 or 100 events would be ridiculous. But yes, I can see how 100 unpublished events would be an issue.

#

for the tournament planned in January-April, I will probably have at some point about 10-15 unpublished events in storage waiting to be published for when the right time comes. So we will see then if I run into any limitations or not.

Thank you so much as well your reply; I also very appreciate that from you as well, Dryminator.
Btw. I will try to find your SF Urban Rush in the next days of this week.

I need to create more, have been kinda demotivated recently.

#

And I dont want to use up too many of my ideas as I want to keep most of them for the tournaments next year

That's alright, no problem at all.

Sadly we aren't able / allowed to directly choose any hours / minutes for the time of day in the searching filter but at least 4 different choices for the time of day:
=> Sunrise
=> Day
=> Sunset
=> Night

So I could find your San Francisco Urban Rush - SR event with choosing the Day / 3rd time of day choice:

Yeah you cannot pick these options in race creator, you have to specify exact time (to the minute), which is why I include the time chosen in event description in Discord. But no clue what game considers sunrise, sunset etc.

I know, this could be a small but very help improvement for the community race sub menu as a search filter option like choosing the exact same daytime which we can choose in the race creator mode for our own events.

unfortunately thats like 24*60=1440 options. Simply not feasible with current implementation of search filters.

#

Adding 1440 options is not "small" by any means

#

I would recommend you to try to create a race yourself and see how it works first, then you get a better idea of what is "small" or not for development 😄
