#No collision in the grand race pls?

Bruh race without collisions would be boring
Ah it's certain that they would have 10 times more players, it would be proportional to TC2, there was never anyone in the TC2 community race all the players are on PVP street race, no logic in addition 32 players, it This big race is a horror, he should have called it demolition race š¤£
Well, at least make them ghosted when they respawn on road.... many times i crashed just because someone spawn in front of me....
They are ghosted after respawning
I drove through people respawning many times
Yeah, once or twice it happened, but that was when they respawned half inside my car. Other then this example i always crash into them when they respawn and not only me. I saw many, many crashes because of this.
They are ghosted even if they are quite far from me
Good for you.
Even if I crashed into them Iād still finish in top 3 and maybe win the race
i see why youāre not complaining if you always keep coming third and a lot of people in 26 or 16 for 18 they get pushed around and thatās annoying
ghost everyone
No, it would suck
well raming people suck toooooo
Why you insulting me?
Do you know what my bad I take it back?
Wheel is better in this game XD, you just suffer a huge skill issue then
not really when you get rammed off the road thatās not a skill issue bud
Idk itās easy enough to get to top 5 even after being rammed at the start of the race
Iām not
If you donāt want to be rammed just be faster
The only part of grand race that would work with ghosting is the start and first 5-10% of the race
Na bro
For the first 15% It would be good cause even In a crazy fast car you still get rammed and have your entire race ruined at the start
Do what Forza Horizon did for its last 5 installments. Everyoneās is ghosted for 25 seconds. After that you are on your own. If rammers have a problem with the suggestion then it talks more about their skill as a driver (level equal to a 8 year old kid).
Or have a system like gran turismo that temporarily ghosts individuals that dive bomb corners would be nice too, got yeeted off a cliff in the beginning and had to spend the rest of the race just trying to catch back up to 10th š¤£
Git gud,don't be behind someone
Easy to say when you start as 28th player.
Jk ofc ,but it's easy to get loose from the pack
Just take retarded line at the first corner ,and if you drive good enough you will lose the most of those 28
You will probably meet like 6-8 people from there
If you want to mess around and chill, yeah there's chaos everywhere ,but if you want to win those monkeys is not a problem 80% of all times
With my skill i am happy to be in top 10, i can get more if there isnt hypercar/alpha gp mix, i simply hate those two.... Sadly i won pnly twice, but that is okey for me. I know my limits š, yet it suck when crash happen...
avoiding it,is part of the art of driving š
I disagree partially, itās impossible to always get away from the pack on the first corner especially when everyone doesnāt use their brakes
Yesterday I had a situation where I could go first but I was simply pushed from the corner into the grass
It would indeed be better to introduce a collision-free mode. There is no point in driving technically correctly, taking turns well, etc. A guy who doesnāt know how to drive will always just fly into you from behind, knock you down and fly forward thanks to cool physics. And in order to level this out, you yourself take turns like a guy who doesnāt know how to drive, pulling the handbrake where itās not necessary, at speeds much higher than necessary. As a result, these 28-person races turn into a fork of the derby mode. I am writing this as a person who consistently takes places from 1 to 5. In my opinion, collisions can make sense in races for 5-10 people with the same length of the track.
I mean i use the slam technique cause i suck at turning even with some of the best brake pro settings and 5 deadzone braking
Try the braking line assist to know when to begin braking and learn to judge your braking distance better then.
This assists is inaccurate af
A good compromise would be ghosting players until after the 1st corner. Not a fix, but could help.
Or ghosting people that are past the point of return for a corner. I mean, braking line predicts how much space you need pretty good, so it would pretty much function like auto braking but instead of slowing you down it just ghosts you and lets you go sailing off a cliff or into a forest or whatever instead of the side of Jimmy's Aventador š¤£
It's inaccurate, yeah, not gonna help you set any records for sure but if you're just trying to get a handle on braking distance it's a useful tool.
So letās say that ur opponent brakes on a corner where u donāt have to, would that ghost me and make me overtake him without any effort?
Yeah, but most of the time u can brake like 30 meters later
Oh yeah for sure. A lot of the time when you see it go yellow or orange you can just lay of gas a bit even a few times when it's red. Im not saying it's gonna make him win. Just that he won't be braking too late anymore
Idk if this is in game but in beta the racing line sometimes glitched
Like it disappeared? Yeah still does that. I was using it a lot when I first got the game and that was a frustrating bug sometimes.
It sometimes turned randomly on straights
Oh no I haven't seen that before. Must have been patched I mean that's what the beta was for afterall i guess. Now it's only the civilians that turn in the middle of straight roads š¤£š¤£
to see hwo have better skill
To prevent this from happening, such people who deliberately push everyone should be given a fine in the form of stopping the car at 0
i do, i just generally suck
i either go very slow or go fast and hit wall
im trying to find the perfect balance
Try pulsing your brakes a bit coming up to the corner so you can get a better feel for the deceleration perhaps, and look for landmarks to brake at. For example I like to brake just after exiting the tunnel into the hairpin on hectic hanuma, turn into the corner gently under full brake, ease off brake and power up the straight, some corners are more complex and require multiple brake points and some you can actually power through if you hit the right angle. It really comes down to practice at the end of the day, becoming familiar with the physics, handling of your car, and the subtleties of the track you're on. Keep at it and it'll click before you know it
If someone is against removing collisions, try taking a limo for drifting. This thing uses players like a knife through butter when cornering. The simplest top 1. And is this normal?
