Can we not have petty arguments over what discipline something might go into? Reminder that we're not the ones that make that decision at the end of the day. But in IVT's odd logic, a C8 Z06 (or ZR1 if they sit on it long enough) would likely end up in hyper like the C7 did. Honestly it's probably best they just avoid the Z06 and just do the ZR1 cause people will just request that when it drops whether or not we ever get a Z06 or not.

Cause people always want the latest and greatest model of everything, might as well only expend the effort for the very last model of something instead of chasing the current trendy but ultimately still replaced model of something like, say, the Huracan STO for the example.

Mainly because they are simply not fast enough in the content drip to keep up with that demand. Really have to pick and choose whatever ~10 cars they add every 4 months or so.

Theres pretty much no point to using them at all, they're completely overshadowed in their own classes by everything as they for some reason got classed in the same tiers as all the cars in their respective catagories, unlike tc2 where you had bike exclusive races in both single player and multiplayer

Using a bike is completely pointless as a result for a strong majority of the playerbase, along with their handling.

The Panigale R (Racing Bike), which is the absolute best bike in the entire game can't even attempt to compete with the car meta in Racing spec. It can't compete with the top like, 20 cars.

Bikes turn worse, are slower than cars, and will absolutely get bodied by cars if they were to battle each other physically. Which all reflect how a bike would race against cars irl.
Real life bikes would also accelerate WAY faster than a car could. This is an advantage bikes has over cars that would possibly balance them out on a track, yet this game CONVENIENTLY misses this trait, making bikes completely useless competitively.

THIS is what we've been trying to say. Fix this first before adding more bikes.

let me break down the order of Challenger releases: 2012 SRT-8 (TC1, 2014 launch), Challenger Hellcat (TC2, 2018 launch) Classic challenger (TC2/2018 launch, also added because it's the hero car of Driver: San Francisco), Challenger SRT Demon (TC2, highly requested and added early 2020 I think?). all the other filler custom editions came after that point.

there a ton of relics left over from TC1's "bottom to the top" philosophy, which also explains all the goofy fictional touring car/racing kit versions of ordinary cars, that was very much a TC1 thing. back when the idea was you bought a stock car and had it tuned to different specs/disciplines as if it were the same car at heart. that dynamic no longer exists and so did the approach to licensing new cars, since you no longer built to the top, you just bought instead. This is why all those older TC1 cars actually have up-trim customization, like the 2015 GTR having an optional Nismo kit, Murcielago with full SV kit, etc. Also I apologize for the rambling I keep doing on this.
