The recent change is a huge nerf for the countach so the leaderboards have to be reset AGAIN

But since having a leaderboard reset every season is really annoying, having the awd on the countach would be in my opinion the best thing to do :

It feels better to drive (especially at low speed)
This is not like the game is a sim, no one really cares if this is not like the real countach (99% of the playerbase never knew it was awd in game)
An ANOTHER reset would be REALLY annoying for everyone (Especially dedicated players, you know the one who are keeping you game kind of "alive")
I never seen anyone complain about the countach being awd...

Get out of your tryhard mindset for a second. It is not a performance concern and never will be. If you care exclusively for your own leaderboard topping powerfantasy, at all costs, it doesn't mean that everyone else automatically does too.

Countach is RWD and this is not some game-specific special edition that could be excused for existing as AWD. This is just one of the continuous fixes to the disciplines and cars, and not some out of the ordinary one-off.

It would not be an issue if it was rwd since the beginning
Now because ivt can't provide quality content they created a lot of issues (like having ld reset every update)

My opinion is that awd countach would be the best solution to satisfy most of ppl and the second best would be leaderboard reset

But non of them were done and we now have a season where you can't time attack in street race

If you didn't hear people complaining in your tiny community it doesn't mean that they suddenly don't exist elsewhere and would be pleased with things staying broken. Same thing happened with the offroad fix, where 0.001% of people here actively resisted the obvious fix too.

Stop being so egoistical about things, this is not a competition first game and you know it, yet push ridiculous propositions that put only leaderboard-based interest atop everything else.

The solution should be wiping pre-season times of Countach from the boards, and not reversing an important fix to the car, end of. Any other proposition is just tryharding mental gymnastics.

I was against the offroad glitch
From what ive seen most ppl never noticed the countach was awd and most of the rest do not care that much
And i am not only on tryhard discords... Tbh those are the place where i spend the less of my time...

Another thing : you can disagree with my opinion / think its a bad idea but that not a reason to call me egoistical or kind of trashtalk me
This is a feedback, the opinion of a player
There is other way to debate than attacking the people who create the post

I'm just pointing out the obvious here, tryhards tunnel vision again on their own interests.

But do go ahead and make it seem like a personal attack, this is not that dramatic to me, idc.

IVT over time did many even smaller car fixes that some of us wouldn't even notice, but it doesn't mean that maintaining those things is suddenly not important or should be reversed just cause some playstyle is feeling hurt for a moment.

on a technical level it was a bug, car's handling file was most likely built on top of an existing one and someone forgot to change the drivetrain

It seems like you are missing the whole issue and a lot of informations
Because you can't even read i will summarize here :

The issue is that the Countach was really glitched at the beginning
Now it get fixed

There is two solutions to garantee the leaderboards being nornal (and i think both are good) : reset leaderboards or making it awd again
What i say with that post is that the second solution might avoid one of the issue that is annoying for a decent amount of ppl wich is having leaderboards reset REALLY frequently (this issue is one of the problems that made a decent ammount of ppl leave the game)

That post is an idea of how could ivory tower avoid creating AGAIN a new problem, thats all
