Very hard to say based on one corner really. Merc seems to have made good steps as well as aston martin according to palmer. But neither looked as controlled as the redbull. It can be setup as well, maybe redbull just got it a bit better right out of the gate but others may catch up come race weekend.

Their testing laps are faster than their 2022 qualifying lap. The car is obviously greatly improved even just watching it go round. Now just a question if the other midfield teams are sandbagging or hiding something of their own.

Anyway rumour is AM CFD and wind tunnel data is extremely impressive even by top teams standards. Those that are trackside are also calling it a complete looking package with a very stable rear end. Time will tell. Like I said Iām cautiously optimistic.
