📰 FIA confirms that Red Bull breached (minor overspend - less than 5%) the 2021 budget cap, in addition to a procedural breach, which Aston Martin has also committed.

➡️ In a statement released this afternoon, it was confirmed that 9 teams were found to be under the budget cap last season, which was around $147.4 million. Only Red Bull exceeded it (there is talk of 1-2 million), although the team itself has denied this following the FIA's announcement.

➡️ However, only 7 teams on the grid have received a certificate of compliance. The remaining 3 are Aston Martin, Red Bull and Williams, the latter due to a previous procedural breach that was settled in May.

➡️ The FIA Cost Cap Administration is currently determining the appropriate course of action to be taken on the matter. In the case of Aston Martin it is less serious, and the infringement would relate to a number of administrative accounting protocols.
