#Damage model

Probably licensing stuff prevented them from this.
And due to the constant auto-repair, most we can get as "proper" damage models are the ones like TC1, where the parts have their own physics, but never break off. Otherwise we'd have things like broken off hoods rematerializing out of nowhere.
No it would not be cool
what i meant was something like how nfs payback does it
When people say "damage model", they can refer to two wildly different things. It can refer to damage done to internal components that affect performance, or more often than not, people just say it because they want to see the cars more visually mangled on impacts.
The former isn't all that interesting or fun, especially in a game of this style, and the latter is limited by licensing and a lot of manufacturers not wanting their cars represented in that way.
I want an option to turn off damage visuals
One street lamp and your car looks totaled
I doubt they are referring to performance part wear and tire
especially for an arcade game like TC2
it can be worse for people driving in hood cams go through one bush and hood deforms so bad that it throws you off your run specially in the case of RR
Yea the ford raptor and murcielago in particular have awful hood cams as soon as you drive through a bush
