#Make the small magellanic cloud and large magellanic cloud 3d, they aren't supposed to be flat.

I think its flat because we've only got ONE angle to see them from. We can't make a 3D map of the clouds with 100% confidence that most things are in the right position, and since SpaceEngine strives for as much accuracy as it can, the team behind it probably decided it was better to make the clouds flat than 3D.
it would be more accurate they decided to make it 3d since i dont think a mess would be perfectly flat but you do have a point
they reason they are called magellanic clouds is because they looked like clouds to early astronomers
especially the lmc is probably pretty flat considering it was a dwarf spiral galaxy before disruption of the arms
