There's even some potential dwarf planets in SE that have their size completely outdated or straight up wrong too
For example, 2002 MS4 in SE has a diameter of 387 even though it's estimated to be 796+-24 km, so literally half as big as it should be.
Part of me thinks this might simply be outdated, or it could be that they put radius instead of diameter which would be hilarious lol
The thing is, this is just 1 example of many others that also just so happen to have their diameter wrong in exactly the same way, 50% lower... Which leads me to believe someone actually confused radius for diameter when making the catalogs
Another example is 2005 RN43 (347km instead of 600-700km), but there are even more
When it comes to stuff like Orcus, Quaoar, Gonggong, and Sedna, my guess is that they were made not dwarf planets on purpose so they don't appear in the "Solar system browser" in order to not clutter it or something... Which is wrong anyways since if Ceres is included with only 940km in diameter, there's no reason to not include the rest that are just as confirmed and as big if not bigger.
Gonggong and Quaoar specifically are both absolutely confirmed and a good amount larger than Ceres so at the very least these 2 should be there.
for whatever reason this was just done for quaoar but not any others (even gonggong which is more massive)
because quaoar is the only one of those that is considered to be a dwarf planet by the iau.. ..even though the other ones have a 99% chance of being spherical
why does their opinion matter when it contradicts objective reality
id be extremely surprised if something like gonggong was not spherical
IAU hasn't ever updated þeir catalog of dwarf planets since like haumea or makemake
