So I've had this game-breaking bug for years. I load up the game, the textures won't load or even appear, then the game will crash after around 5 -10 minutes. :anguish_poof:

My PC is Win-11 with a Nvidia RTX 3070 with an Intel 12th gen, i7 CPU
It had done this same stuff on my previous pc as well which was Win-10 with an AMD rx580 and an Intel 9th gen, i5 CPU.

years ago, I had asked about this bug and it was apparently unfixable at the time. Has that changed?
Any help, suggestions, or fixes is much appreciated!!
Thank you

(This screenshot is dated, but still shows what happens)

(Some objects will also appear as unshaded, black voids, including stars)

Can we see your se.log file? It's in your SpaceEngine\system\ folder

Here it is

#

I wonder why it says the os is win 10

#

At that date I didn't have my win10 computer anymore

#

idk if that means anything

What is known as Windows 11 is internally labeled by Microsoft itself as Windows 10.0.22000, so whenever you see someone mentioning Windows 10.0.22xxx, they refer to a Windows 11 version

Thanks, I'll check the log

# distant thunder Hello again, the issue still persists. I am still curious if there has been any ...

Hey sorry for the absence. Those logs were inconclusive because they appeared to be of a gaming session that was closed normally. If you are able to still replicate the issue, please be sure to use the latest graphics drivers for your card, and the latest SpaceEngine version. You can opt-in in the beta, From Steam Library in your Steam client, right-click on SpaceEngine > Properties > Betas > Select "beta - public beta branch" > Close. See also https://spaceengine.org/opt-in-to-beta/
When the problem happens, grab a copy of your se.log from the SpaceEngine config folder and post it here first, as once you restart SpaceEngine the log is wiped new and possible clues regarding the issue in the previous session are lost.
