Aegis is an off global 20 second rally for yourself that's good into physical burst and just if you need an immediate "boost". Aegis eating half of magic damage when you come out of a kidney won't cut it.
And so much damage comes out of wizards that I think the play is just run.

I have a couple questions, some regarding something I've never had to deal with on my US account:

What is the meta currently? I keep getting lots of unreasonable hate for playing Arms. Is Fury really better for Arenas now? Why is it so?

What do I need to focus on in terms of gearing? I know Tiers are recommended for PvP, but I'm confused about legendaries. Guides online always list multiples, but with little to no reasoning as to why legendary A is better than legendary B and again why.

How does a "new" player with no achievements find partners to climb with? Everyone (even low CR) requires 2k XP and I struggle heavily to even farm gear let alone find someone who wants to play for longer than 2 games.
