I used to do this a lot. What eventually got me to duellist was getting used to holding them until an actual kill opportunity presented itself. Warrior does great pressure to begin with so you don’t need to blow your cooldowns all at once mid-game to force pressure. Then you can pop whatever when they’re out of cooldowns or healer is cced or you got lucky with some procs etc and you might get a kill

Fuck double feral games though you’ll always get some meme games in between that you can’t do a whole lot about. Fortunately they aren’t the majority of games

But seriously just play more and you’ll start instinctively knowing when to do stuff. Last season it took me all 6 months to get challenger and I hadn’t pvped since Wrath. Managed to get due list this seasons and carry two friends across the line too

Try playing an alt in pvp to see how far you’ve gotten in playing arena games. You’ll be getting killed instantly because you’ll have no idea where to stand or how to counter certain plays, whereas you are much farther along in it as a warrior, and in a few weeks how you play today will look the same to you. Fumbling around with no clue

But yeah if you just learned how to drive you won’t know how to handle a McLaren. It takes time

for warrior this is a pretty easy trap to fall into, especially given the class's damage profile of "that didn't kill you? i'll try again in 30." defensively there's plenty to learn and that's where a lot of the skill ceiling comes in. example i like to use is into rogues -- see kidney coming up? you can sit def stance for those last few seconds before it to make yourself a harder target
