I just dropped both Broad Strokes and Tactical Edge for now and put 2 points into Critical Thinking. Honestly, I still have plenty of buttons to press even without 100% Tactician procs, since it procs often enough anyway, plus Execute procs are pretty frequent.

One thing thats kind of wonky though is the CDR desyncing my CDs. Like baseline everything lines up nicely. Avatar and Demolish on a 1.5m CD and Smash on a 45s CD but because of the CDR sometimes I get Avatar back before Demolish or Slam and Demolish/avatar get desynced or something. How do you guys handle that? Do you just send CDs on CD or are you holding some to line certain ones up? Ive been doing the 2nd one but I feel like thats causing me to lose a lot of value from the CDR

I know pvp is situational. Obviously if somebody is about to die and all I have off CD is avatar, ill press it to kill

But in normal circumstances I mean (or as normal as they can be)

I can't agree that Slayer is easier. Colossus is just fundamentally clunky to pull off because so many classes can CC you during your burst, especially during the Demolish cast. You get hit with everything — from Fears and Disarms to a simple Shadowmeld from a Night Elf. Not to mention Mages can just Blink or Block while stunned. It feels like you literally can't land a single Demolish on them the entire game. Slayer doesn't have that weakness, and if the procs are on your side, it pumps out huge damage in a very short window.

Colossus can work well against double melee, where one solid Shockwave into a massive Demolish on both targets, followed by heavy cleave, can actually carry the game. In any other scenario, the helplessness of Demolish just tilts me. 🙁

I'm playing at a mediocre 1800-1900, and let’s be honest - people there aren't exactly pro gods, but even at that rating, I get shut down during Demolish constantly. I can stun my main target and do everything right to setup a full cast, but the second DPS or the healer will inevitably counter me.

And yeah, Colossus buffs MS, while Slayer buffs Execute and Overpower by that same 15%.

Maybe I’m just burnt out on Colossus, which is why I’m being so critical right now, but I just feel worse playing it than I do with Slayer. Maybe things will change in a few days.

To be fair, both hero specs are viable; you just pick the one that feels better for you.

change ur tab target to nearest enemy player so u dont accidently tab pets

bind enemy target 123 and stormbolt 123, i find u change target to healer and run at them rather than just turning and throwing bolt without losing target
