Nothing happens randomly in pvp.

There are optimal routes just like in pve. The difference is that the lower rating your enemies are, the more randomly the mobs will be distributed (but also the easier it is to kill them).

As you grow and your enemies become tougher, the randomness diminishes and in place you take brutal amounts of damage and have to be better at applying your entire kit to secure wins,.

make a list of 3 things vs each spec you need to be good at and then whenever you zone in and see the enemy team, you pick one from each enemy team specs' list that you want to focus on.

For example as enhancement in 2s and I see rdruid sub rogue, i'll know vs the rdruid I want to kick all the cyclones and vs the sub rogue I want to lasso him when he uses dance before he uses his first attack.

In my video reviews I check to see how well I did on those two objectives.
