I just tried the OBR on target dummies just for fun and what I noticed is: It does the same damage, +25% GCD doesnt matter when you are ragestarved and have to wait to cast anyway. Do I just unsub? xd

I had a kind of gimmicky AoE bleed build for Arms last season and I'm trying to make it work in MN. But there are just so many contradictions in the build now. If I want to stack bleed damage I gotta play colossus, but the main way of getting DW now is Execute so I'd have to play Slayer to get more stacks of DW. Alternatively I'd have to play crit/haste to make Mortal Strike and Cleave be able to stack Mortal Wounds but then I can't increase bleed damage with mastery. It just feels kind of awkward now.

Or am I missing something?

Maybe I should just drop mastery altogether and test if stacking deepwounds as many times as possible with the new rework is strong enough on its own

That might be a good swap. I am playing Cleave itself because Mortal Wounds does not work with Whirlwind (and so I don't have to only rely on MS and Exe to apply wounds), but also because the build was originally a AoE combo (Thunder clap for rend, cleave for wounds, Roar for the extra bleed damage, skullsplitter for target) meant to be used in a BG. Never really got to try it properly but it was still the first thought to model if after AoE now too, but the tree just doesn't look the same

So, bleed build kind of sucks, maybe, possibly, prepatch weirdness and all. I was consistently in the middle ranks of damage during the BGs and it was kind of difficult to get anyone with enough self-healing down with the bleeds

Also no reliable way of spreading bleeds in AoE anymore so it doesn't really have that going for it either

Might just be kinda cooked unless they release a PvP talent specifically for it
