yeah that sucks i was in a LC when I mythic raided and it has its flaws though. you could be a good player but the council likes someone more or prefers someone who has been there longer that is maybe around the skill or even slightly lesser than you

@wooden yarrow only advice i'd give after recently getting 1800 as prot knowing nothing, is be agressive and set a plan for your team early. Even if it's a bad plan, say what you're doing and try to push others to get into some type of set objects. I found prot to be very offensive as well, we can't just stay at one base especially alone considering a rogue by themselves can stun us out of a cap. Instead try to move along with your healer around the map and try to peel people off of teammates doing objectives.
