I'll try to note here everything I think you're doing wrong :
0:01 : You glimpse and felblade the dk, that's a waste. Demo lock can pet stun you / shaman can lasso you, dk could grip / blind you so there is a lot of ways to interrupt your hunt. It's not that bad but it's always better to get it out. What high xp dh would do here in opener is the following : gates open : imo aura fire sigil, beam ( just beam, dont care if it doenst hit anyone, you just need to use it to get a stack of your beam CDR ), and THEN you target the lock, or the dk, and you GLIMPSE into hunt. One more trick : You use hunt at 0:06 while you have your meta ready. What you can do is : Hunt and mid air spam your metamorphosis so it cancels the hunt animation. If the lock is in your line he will be hit no matter what. So I think you could have hit it before he ported. Ofc you should have expected him to port considering how obvious your desire to get the hunt our was.

So the first second your biggest mistake is that you do not set up your opener correctly, ends up being mega clunky ( hunt cast is kinda slow even though its less than 1.5seconds ), and you lose by definition some damage.

0:09 : You're wasting 3 gcds, first you're using chaos strike into nova into aldrachi glaive. Oh and you're using your sigil of spite. Oh and you purge. Oh and another chaos strike. So this ends up that 16 seconds into the round you havent used your first beam, nor your meta. This pvp meta ( especially in shuffle ) revolves around momentum. You create no pressure, only few disruptions with your cc and thus you're allowing the ennemy team to create a gap of cooldowns because you allow them to dps your shaman while you're still setting up your damage. ( at 0:16 your ele has no trinket, ascendance ends soon, your priest already used dome and pi. )
