There certainly needs to be a review of how the Paladin discord server is operated, as claiming the right of discourse is something which I think is out with the rights and obligations of the moderators. If it was stated in the rules perhaps, but there is no mention of 'shutting down discourse' if we believe a spec is not to our liking in any way shape or form.

We can talk about this happening in the political sphere and obviously raise questions as to the legitimacy of doing so. But there needs to be some kind of input from the general base of the discord server.

I think its a bit of a shame this has happened and it points to perhaps an overinflating of worth within parts of the moderator role here. Keep in mind I say this out of concern for the operation of this discord server and not because of any personal prejudice to the moderators.
