blitz is in a weird spot where your personal skill WILL NOT SHINE if you're a brawler type, until your MMR is higher than the starting MMR

If one player sucks in shuffle, you're going 4-2 and climbing

If they suck in blitz you lose

If you're trading a crafted pvp ring on fury you lose 5% vers and like 4% mastery, which is 5% damage outside enrage and 8.5% with enrage, for the proc ring. You also take 2.5% more damage, so view that as you giving your opponents 2.5% extra damage, while losing 8.5% damage, and gaining your total procs% damage.

If the ring gives you +20% damage done, you're shifting the fight 9% in your favour (very roughly!). (-8.5 to your dam, +2,5% to their damage is 11% in their favor when you unequip your crafted pvp ring. Then you shift it up 20% from there)

i think warriors in general are viewing blitz from a different angle than enh shamans and rogues

I think brawler types have it easier in shuffle, they can easier be matchmakers every round.

But in blitz those brawlers have the least effect on the overall battleground, and have to rely on their team to do the matchwinning stuff, while their job is to support by keeping the enemy team busy as much as possible

Growing your MMR is your goal, CR is just the reward you get for grinding MMR up

Getting high MMR early and then sitting on it doesn't benefit you, it's like having a fat pension and working till you die.
