I am doing what you just described, working on getting the viscious mount. I am 27% of the way there and it has taken a while on solo shuffle. In fact most all day yesterday going from 2% to 27%. But I mostly geared up first, with honor and then the conquest gear, crafted gear, and gear from trophy of strife. Not sure if it optimal to do that or jump straight into solo shuffle but yeah, I got some gear first. Maybe at least half of my gear glad gear and have the weapon before even doing 1 solo shuffle. I have been doing solo shuffle and queues are 8-15 minutes long.

I did however not start in solo shuffle though that might be viable. I do the daily things for each unranked type of gameplay, but mostly the bgs, epic bgs, and blitz. The first time you win every day you get a decent honor and conquest boost.

Between queues do your weekly outdoor pvp quest and just tinker around and do pvp and world quests and get that war supply crate. You need the trophy of strife from that weekly quest and

Also if I did it again, I would probably throw my first 6 rounds of solo shuffle or at least 3 of the 6 lol. In each spec I went 6-0 in my first game and it set my mmr to 2100 and I went like 0-6 my next three games and got yelled at.

Like it sucked.

Like at 2100, if you are not fully geared, they will find out you are the squishy clown in the first round and they will smash you the next 5. And everyone will look at you with disgust.

for UH what I'd want is them to be melee, but their animations swap to caster animations if the target is outside melee range. And give them 15-20 yard range baseline

but from a raiding perspective, the game would benefit from having a 3rd class of dps. Melee, medium range, long range

Does fury struggle in melee lobby? I’m going 5-1 or 6-0 at 2300 on a full caster lobby and then in all melee lobby I’m get wrecked and destroyed in damage

Gotcha, I’ll mess with those on my next melee lobby it seems like that won’t be anything game changing. I’ll have to figure out other ways to come out with a positive W/L in those full melee lobby
