The roar is big. Lines up with avatar now and means skull splitter value skyrockets. It might make a comeback

Holy pally got the most interesting set of class build changes. They are getting super high crit chance built into their spells and they have spells that cause holy shock to double cast frequently now

As for sockets. They are no longer gated by vault coins. PvP gear is only socketed with a jewel token purchased through honor or obtained randomly from rated wins.

Jewelcrafters have an additional socket- however it cannot be used on PvP gear.

Crafted PvP gear is essentially identical to today with some good changes.

No more sparks. Instead you only use conquest trophy.

Recipes will drop but less frequently. They are not BoP anymore so you can trade them on AH.

So it seems like the weekly vault is becoming strictly a PVE only benefit. There are no PvP gains to be had anywhere through the weekly reset system aside from conq cap.

I had a look at possible beta builds for PvP as it stands today and it seems promising.

Arms tree is pretty banging. You get pretty much everything you want.

Class tree has some tough choices

AoE berserker shout is baked into the one talent. Which is nice.

The biggest downside is likely that cacophonous roar is impossible to talent into now.

and there's no arena there. Retail q's are always the fastest except DPS shuffle times. Queues are nearly instant until 2.4 in 2s/3s. 2s will then be aroudn 5min and 3s maybe a couple mins depending on time of day.

If you go into non cleaves you can do the same but train easiest kill target, grip heal, same go

So I tried Arms out in arena, went great on the first round and went 6-0. Does it start new on your MMR though? Cause it put me at 2100 I guess and got absolutely smashed the next match and made most everyone mad lol
