the reality is that it barely matters - both stats have upsides and downsides
mastery will give you burstier, chunkier damage, haste will make the spec feel more smooth and give you more sustained damage
there really arent any specific stat caps you need to look out for, just take whichever haste feels best and stack the rest into mastery
if you do really want to min-max, just dont lock yourself into a spot where your haste isnt reducing your gcd

I have it at a mix of 483 and 489 from pve but every time I equip it I feel squishier than when I use just 2 with other conquest pieces
I don’t know what happened this week but I feel like I’m a lot worse somehow. Consistently losing rating after getting duelist week 2
I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or what but I feel like I’m dying a lot more easily

So focus on what you can do, focus on practicing your damage and the rest will come with gear.
