I levelled Fury from 0 - 65 and didnt know much about the differences

it looks like Fury can heal itsself a tiny bit more but Arms has more defensives

I think a fury warrior complaining about how they lost in the arena to a demonology warlock in 2s is rich. Fury is quite possibly the most ridiculous melee in the game right now. I don’t like fighting fury warriors like yourself, but I am not calling to have your class removed. When we look at the side by side comparison below, it really looks like fury should be up next on the chopping block.

Fury warriors have a 36% healing reduction to their target, demonology now only has 20% healing reduction to their target.

Fury warriors have 3+ gap closers compared to a demonology warlocks 2 mobility defensives.

Fury warriors have two big offensive cooldowns on a 1.5 minute timer. Demonology only has 1 offensive cooldown on a 1.5 min timer. Fury can also proc their offensive cooldown with auto swings, giving them 20% additional crit. Demonology does not receive 20% additional haste for existing, but instead has 20% haste as a 45 second cooldown that can be removed with one of those auto swings.

Fury warriors have a 15 second cooldown on their spell interrupt. Demonology doesn’t have a spell interrupt.

Fury warriors have a spell reflect on a 25 second cooldown, however demonology doesn’t have a melee reflect on any cooldown.

Fury warriors have a single target stun on a 30 second cooldown, to which demonology also has a 30 second stun on a single target cooldown. Look at that, common ground! Oh wait, fury warriors have an aoe stun on a 40 second cooldown that is instant cast, compared to warlocks having, best case scenario, a 45 second cooldown aoe stun that has to be cast.

I still get to play the full game but a large part of the experience and “freshness” is gone

The other option is to be perma-casual and never see the real endgame

group sizes are generally so large for raid that all dps only care about parsing, in which case everything is a numbers game. m+ is a bit more flexible because you can play around with your utility and dmg profile, but it's still very linear

and for pvp the trees are again just too linear for anywhere near the same level of flexibility and variety that D4 offers
