If you have the catalyst charges left, just cat your glad gear. If your tier set is mythic, you can use that as a sub. If it's heroic or less, better off just wearing plain pvp gear. Actual dam boost is like 8%, so you could trade 8 ilvl average ig?

You get two pieces of tmog for each rank you get between 1k and 1800 (I think one rank only gives the cloak or something). at 1800 you unlock the helm and shoulders and complete the set.

I also have bigdebuffs, I think my big focus for this one was when my healer would get CC'd. It REALLY helped me be more aware of when I needed to pull back, IP, D-stance, leap to safety, stun dps, etc. depending on the situation.

What do your nameplates and party frames look like?

I would suggest you at least use the gladius party frames to work better with BigDebuffs

I used ELVUI for party frames, but I think using gladius would work just as good.

Also a couple things to note - Gladius allows you to show a border (which already exists and is color-coded) around the enemy CD's based on what type of CD they are. So, especially as a beginner, you can see when they're out of all their defensive cds are down, or when all their offensive cds are up, etc.

Only other "essential" which I felt helped me a ton was recording myself and watching the replays. I could see my mistakes a lot better and I felt like it helped my "growth" in being able to be more situationally aware of what was going on compared to the initial chaos you feel when you first start pvp.
