Below 2k I’d focus on burst - I can see how in higher mmr you’d use a few globals to soften a target, get some mobility CDs out of the way before pressing your burst
But below 2k just press oneshot macro on kill target

If you’re below 2k you’re doing fundamental stuff wrong - that might be as simple as missing opportunities to do free/high damage.
Not sure if 2k is the cut off but the reason why higher rated players have to be more strategic is because their opponents don’t give them freebies.
In a 1500 rated match you get a freebie every 5 seconds - someone out of position, someone clearly not reacting to burst, someone pressing all buttons at once, etc. the way you punish that is by creating more pressure and as war your best tool is damage
The more mistakes you force the more matches you win
Once people make less mistakes and you going zug zug becomes the mistake you adjust
For kill targets I like stuff like fistweaver monk, any hunter, any warlock, mages except frost
If you see any of those on the other team just hit that guy every time

Once you start tracking overall damage you’ll notice rounds where you did nothing and a team-mate died. That’s the worst case scenario.
Feels bad to trinket first cc of the game but if you know you have a can on your team and they’re about to blow that person up you just trinket and try to give them some space.
