you will always struggle to hold threat on aoe situations, and tanking both mobs for menagerie (assuming you are 2 tanking) is not going to be fun. sweeping strikes, sunder, revenge will be your friend

Did solid in a pug holding both the chicken and squirl. Was alot less geared too. That was done with arms spec with SS. But if i went deep prot for the bennifit of healer mana i would lose Ss wouldent i?

Then its cleave and thunderclap for aoe basicaly right. Getting decently geared now so i see it going alot better than when i pugged it. I now have the epic 1 hander from raid and 3 set.
It went very well in the pug my guild can just have those moments

i guess i meant more in terms of aoe compared to other tanks like paladins. if healers can keep you alive when you dont have mit talents specced, then youre probably fine to keep the dps spec, as its still fairly good for threat and the dmg is nice

warriors are very squishy, even more so when not specced into prot (or wearing a shield). the highest dmg scenarios are in those last two fights and if you were able to stay alive during that theres no reason you cant just keep tanking/dpsing as the dps build

Ive looked up some of the leaked phase 3 runes. It looks like they are trying to make us tabk with a shield in the long run. Like bis will be a 1 hander and a shield for threat and mitigation. Deff gonna take more tuning but the new runes buff our damage by like 10 percent when we have a shield ao they are trying

Ya I’m confused about these runes they seem awful. Sword and board to buff what is arguably the worst ability in classic? Unless they make it scale off AP it will still be pointless right? Especially considering what you give up for deep Prot. And Glad stance is only a 10% dmg increase? You can off tank with it I guess? But if you aren’t main tanking, why wouldn’t you go zerker with a 2H or dual-wield? That’s way more than a 10% dmg increase anyways.

Consumed by Rage in phase 1, we go over 80 rage then below and above 80 to keep procing the rune. Is that how fury is played in phase 3?

need thoughts here, been experimenting with fury talents and the so called rune "enrages". SO! Basically notice that wrecking crew wrist rune says your crits "enrage you", also notice that during this "enrage" you can use enraged regeneration rune, without needing to use berserker rage or bloodrage.....so it actually does enrage you.

anyone know if you benifirt from fury talent enrage / flurry during said "enrage" from wrecking crew simillar to being able to cast spells like enraged regen, only avalable when enraged?

Right off the bat it seems like your consumed by rage enrage uptime is very bad, and your bloodthirst cpm is quite low. For more help I’d go to fight club discord

I looked at the first boss btw, the double drake boss is a little rough for melee obv

As for rage usage… wcl seems to not track the rage gained from melees so it is hard to tell how much you’re optimizing that but I have a sneaking suspicion that youre not pooling rage for bloodthirst and youre spamming heroic strike- starving yourself

your gear looks fine, Dreamscythe and weaver is your only bad parse and that fight is not really suited to warriors anyway, also you raid didnt finish, so i would say farm up some consume and run again no use worrying about a parse thats not full.

after swapping talents, youll be spamming hamstring and heroic strike when whirlwind isnt up and no bloodsurge procs

you also need to work on flag uptime

you can also keep playing rampage on wrists if you want, but wrecking crew is just better

and you are low on hit from what im seeing on your gear

I think I count 5% from whats on your gear i nthe log, but take the hit with a grain of salt, youll get the hit with slightly better gear

focus on whats above the hit comment and youll do fine

you mentioned having rage issues I think this might be largely due to having very low flagellation uptime, its a 25% physical damage amp that I had double your uptime on with a 15s faster kill (I dont think this affects the uptime I wouldve had)

and keep whirlwind on cd before u spam hamstring/heroic strike

with just that your damage should shoot up like crazy

@severe furnace dont go fury if you wont change ur runes on gloves. You do not use devastate rune with dual wielding mate. also yo udont use focused rage rune when dual wielding. Just stick to 1 spec firstly

as you seem to be going dual wielding, but with wrong runes, so not using slam, doing 10% less dmg. Its pointless. on glad spec u dont use whirlwind, literally just stick to Sunder armor > heroic stirke when higher rage and you should be fine. You dont press enough buttons in general.

I think him doing these things was a mistake, I looked through his logs on that clear and multiple bosses he either had the wrong rune and swapped to the right one next boss which, to me, signifies he just forgot to swap

All depends on if you meet certain conditions

The conditions being you playing arms with Taste for Blood rune on helmet

Also you don’t play blood frenzy by the time you get TFB so it shouldn’t be a worry

So questino about fury rotation in SOD3: This is from fight club: slam/WW off cd keep flagellation up (alternate your zerker and blood rage) death wish the last 30 seconds of the fight with other cds following. If you can get 2 death wishes use it on pull hamstring is your filler, Heroic strike queue if above 80 rage execute your heart out - Question: Why would I not be heroic striking until 80 rage? Woudln't heroic strike be spammed constantly to proc slams unless you're whirlwinding? I have nothing that requires '80 rage' that I can see. Also..why would I ever hamstring instead of heroic strike?

You wait until 80 for consumed by rage to proc, heroic strike is also an auto attack buff

So you press hamstring on your global

And when you press heroic strike it buffs your next auto

And because heroic strike makes your next auto cost rage at the opportunity cost of that auto generating rage HS actually has a large cost in comparison to other abilities

Also hamstring is used to proc on but affects such as wind fury

If it’s any consolation tho with full world buffs and consumables you have so much rage both of them pretty much are spammed constantly outside of slam/wws

Hello. im playing warrior in HC classic. Currently, i'm liking it a lot. it's my third one though. first died at 11 helping a level 6 take on fizzle, second was 134 due to listening to eminems new song and connection issue.

Hi ! Just finished ZF on Hardcore and i still got Whirlwind with fiery. Now that I got Ripsaw on ZF, and as a new classic player hitting lvl 50, i wonder if i should now switch to Fury, or find a 2H weapon.
I heard about the hit chance being really bad with duo wielding so... as hardcore requires precaution, isn't a 2 hander as Arms safer along the road ?

I’m a level 32 2h Hardcore warrior with Corpsemaker. It’s best for me to Rend a targets right? It seems to be more DPS for the 10 rage than not spending , for me 14, rage on Heroic Strike

While levelling I've always just done sunder to 50-60% hp or 5 sunders, whatever comes first. Then HS if you somehow are capping rage before it's dead otherwise just save rage for sunders on the next mob. Rend is pretty much never worth it after like level 10, if it's even ever worth it (the amount of times the damage ticks will actually save you a weapon swing is not a lot).

not really since Devastate is DPS based so weapon damage per hit doesn't matter that much anymore. Faster speeds help with faster rage generation and faster rage dumping with HS/Cleave. Also it's easier to get a hit onto multiple targets for example. Most of the recommended lists are Tank DPS oriented so take them with a pinch of salt.

They’re not wrong. I’ve got a few really good parses as Arms and I’m barely above 2.2k on fights where I’m just standing still whereas dw and 2h fury can regularly pump that out regardless.

But to answer your question your priorities are: Rend OP Slam MS QS/HS to dump rage. If you want to fish for more windfury you can run Raging Blow + the 10% ms damage enrage rune. It’s a really bad compared to Rampage it will always enable raging blow. Your mileage will vary.

When your tank leaves after the first boss in UBRS so you swap tank the rest of it because why not you have a decent prot set.Then a dps rolled need on the shield (upgrade) and refuses to pass it because he wants to be able to tank small groups to farm things.... some people are just prics.

rend is good because it can put things over the threshold of dying

when it might take you an entire auto attack, which is a long time when your weapon is 3.6s speed

it also can keep you in combat while you bandage in between pulls so that your rage stays high

Around like level 10-20 depending on your weapon it becomes not worth the rage most of the time
Once you get rank 2 sunder, using sunder until 50-60% hp is the rule of thumb at least until you get sweeping strikes
